A Friendly Halloween

So, i am leaving to go traveling 2 weeks today, 2 WEEKS TODAY!! It’s so exciting!!! I have 5 more shifts left in work so now is the time to get seeing my lovely friends & family.

Me and my 3 best friends from high school (which is a reaaalllly long time ago now) arranged to spend some time together before i leave which was right before Halloween. My friend Emma has just moved into her own apartment right opposite Glosson Dock in Lancaster, so we all got in our cars and made the journey down there. With a boot full of goodies. Which totally included inflatable pumpkins, ghosts and wine!!

Emma is a primary school teacher, so obviously she made our outfits for us. Which included black bin bags covered in glitter. OBVIOUSLY. Seriously we may all be 25/26 now but were still little girls deep down.Throw Rebecca & Emma into any room, with any person, and i guarantee you will laugh. I took my camera and tripod and tried getting all arty with my photography and set up our own little photo booth. Props and all!!

My friend Katie on the left is a model and here we have her in a bin bag. Hahaa honestly sometimes you realize, all you need is your good friends and you can have so much fun. I don’t get to see this girls half as much as i want too, but we all have our own things going on, so when we do see each other it’s like no time has passed.

I am so so proud of my best friends, i am so lucky to know such amazing people. Every one of us is so different, yet so alike. They teach me things every time i see them. I’ve been struggling with decisions about which road to take in my life recently, and an evening with them and their positive energy made me think and see the bigger picture. Right now i’m taking each day as it comes. And i am preparing for a wonderful 3 months away.

We threw together out own buffet which included pizza, chips & dip and wayyy to many doughnuts. Mixed down with a few bottles of red wine, and some blue wkd. Because hey its a kids party? As we are getting older now, we actually went to bed at 12:30, and woke up early with no hangovers!! So we went to explore Glosson Dock and do some crabbing.

We had a really lovely time all of us together. So much changes, but some things will always remain the same. I am so thankful for my crazy best friends, never ever change who you are. HAPPY HALLOWEEN !!
